About us
Trainer: Jordan Cartwright is a Licensed Veterinary Technician at Garland Animal Clinic in Spokane, WA, with more than a decade of experience in veterinary medicine, dog handling, and dog training. She trains and competes across the country in conformation as well as a variety of competitive dog sport events. Jordan shares her home with two champion Dalmatians and a long-eared rabbit, and her training philosophy is rooted in positive-reinforcement, reward-based methods.
Jordan’s training journey began in 2008, when she acquired her first show dog and quickly found success in the conformation ring. This early passion led her to explore additional canine sports, including agility, rally, and obedience. Her drive to support animal health and performance inspired her to pursue veterinary medicine, and she earned her Veterinary Technician License from Pierce College in 2018.
As Jordan’s own dogs advanced in their athletic careers, so did her interest in canine fitness and injury prevention. In 2024, she earned certification as a Canine Strength and Conditioning Coach through North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Jordan now combines her extensive competition background with her clinical knowledge to help canine athletes perform at their best, support healthy adult and senior dogs, and promote safe, effective conditioning practices for dogs of all ages and experience levels.
